These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Nerdy Neighbor LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of our computer repair, phone repair, and IT consulting services. By engaging our services, requesting a quote, bringing devices for repair, or making payment for services, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Nerdy Neighbor LLC provides the following services:

• Computer repair and diagnostics
• Phone and tablet repair services
• Virus removal and malware remediation
• Data recovery services
• Network setup and configuration
• Residential IT consulting
• At-home technical support visits
• Account recovery services
• Other related technical services as agreed upon

5. Device Abandonment Policy

5.2 Notification and Contact Attempts

We will make reasonable attempts to contact you through:

• Phone calls to provided numbers
• Email notifications to provided addresses
• Text messages (if phone number provided)
• Written notice to provided address (if applicable)

5.3 Storage and Disposal Rights

Upon abandonment, Nerdy Neighbor LLC has the unrestricted right to:

• Take full ownership of abandoned devices and components
• Sell, dispose of, or repurpose devices as deemed appropriate
• Remove, destroy, or utilize any data, files, or software
• Recover storage costs and fees from the sale of abandoned property

5.4 Customer Responsibility

It is your sole responsibility to:

• Maintain current and accurate contact information
• Respond promptly to our communications
• Retrieve your devices within the specified timeframe
• Pay all outstanding balances before device return

6. Data and Privacy Considerations

6.1 Data Responsibility

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR BACKING UP YOUR DATA. We strongly recommend creating complete backups before bringing devices for service. We are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or recovery failures.

6.2 Data Access Authorization

By engaging our services, you authorize us to access your device and data solely for diagnostic and repair purposes. We will not intentionally access personal files unless necessary for the repair process.

6.3 Confidentiality

We maintain confidentiality of customer information and data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. However, we may be required to disclose information if legally compelled by court order or law enforcement.

7. Parts and Labor Warranty

7.1 Limited Parts Warranty

New parts installed during repair carry a 60-day warranty against manufacturing defects only.This warranty covers only the specific part installed and does not extend to:

• Labor costs for warranty repairs
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents
• Normal wear and tear
• Water damage or environmental factors
• Compatibility issues with other components

7.2 Labor Warranty

Labor performed carries a 30-day warranty against workmanship defects only.This warranty is void if the device is serviced by another party or subjected to physical damage.

7.3 Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover and are immediately void for:

• Used, refurbished, or customer-supplied parts
• Software-related issues or conflicts
• Acts of God, accidents, or external damage
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Normal aging and component degradation

8. Service Limitations and Exclusions

8.1 No Guarantee of Repair Success

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE SUCCESSFUL REPAIR OR DATA RECOVERY. Some devices may be beyond economical repair or may suffer additional damage during the diagnostic process. Diagnostic fees apply regardless of repair outcome.

8.2 Environmental and Safety Compliance

We reserve the right to refuse service on devices that pose safety hazards, contain hazardous materials, or violate environmental regulations. This includes but is not limited to devices with:

• Liquid damage presenting safety risks
• Damaged batteries or power supplies
• Evidence of attempted unauthorized modifications
• Suspected theft or fraudulent ownership

8.3 Software and Licensing

We do not provide pirated, cracked, or unauthorized software. You are responsible for providing valid licenses for any software installation or recovery. We are not responsible for software licensing compliance or activation issues.

9. Customer Obligations and Conduct

9.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information regarding:

• Device history, problems, and previous repair attempts
• Contact information and availability
• Ownership and authority to authorize repairs
• Any special requirements or concerns

9.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Request illegal modifications or services
• Bring devices containing illegal or copyrighted content
• Engage in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior
• Misrepresent device ownership or authorization
• Attempt to defraud or deceive regarding device condition or history

11. Modifications and Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice.

12. Severability and Enforcement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. We may waive enforcement of any provision without waiving the right to enforce such provision in the future.
